Lead Mission Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

System of systems capability design and integration
Capability road mapping
Lead Integrator for capabilities using complex systems
Lead development of requirements and verification for capabilities
Work with customers to develop and document requirements for system design
Lead capability integration team (software, hardware, test) to release capabilities to the customer
Analyze and translate customer requirements into system, hardware and software designs
Define logical and software interfaces to ensure compatibility with the platform architecture and ensure proper interoperability with other subsystems
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for hardware, software, and performance model development. Utilizes MBSE for requirements development, interfaces definition, and traceability
Hardware and software development, integration, test, and validation/verification
Tests and validates System functionality and performance to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements
Prototype hardware and software evaluation, lab integration, analysis, and test

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
9+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or equivalent work experience and education
Sufficient knowledge and experience of other related engineering disciplines to allow their integration within a design activity
Experience with MBSE modeling tools
Experience working in an Agile environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time as needed
This position is expected to be 100% onsite
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
