Responsibilities
Manage substation construction projects including greenfield builds, expansions, and retrofit work
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
Oversee installation of transformers, breakers, relay panels, steel, bus, and foundations
Act as primary point of contact with utility clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets
Manage RFIs, change orders, and progress reporting
Enforce strict safety and quality standards across all job sites
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in substation or high voltage electrical construction
Strong understanding of substation equipment and construction sequencing
Experience managing subcontractors and self perform crews
Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil drawings
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred
Utility or EPC project experience
Experience with energized work and outage coordination
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
