Responsibilities
Supervise compliance with the production schedule and line priorities
Ensure proper machine operation, adequate staffing, and availability of raw materials
Verify completion of operational, quality, and maintenance records in ERP systems
Monitor product quality and compliance with technical and customer specifications
Coordinate with Planning (PCP), Maintenance, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure smooth production flow
Control work-in-process (WIP) and manage preventive and corrective maintenance requests
Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety conditions (5S standards)
Lead, coach, and supervise shift personnel, promoting safety, discipline, and continuous improvement
Participate in operational meetings, training sessions, and development activities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience as Shift Supervisor or Shift Leader
Proven experience supervising operational teams in manufacturing environments
Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English
Industrial production systems
Production process control
Industrial safety and safe work practices
Operational reporting and traceability
Strong shop-floor leadership
Decision-making under pressure
Clear and direct communication (bilingual)
Results-oriented mindset
Strong safety culture
Teamwork and cross-functional coordination
Preferred
Experience in industrial companies with production lines
ERP systems (SAP preferred) and basic MS Office
Technical or university education is not mandatory
