Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, panels, and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Perform troubleshooting on circuits, motors, controls, and power distribution systems
Ensure compliance with NEC, local building codes, and safety standards
Test systems using meters and diagnostic tools
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to complete projects efficiently
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in commercial, industrial, or residential electrical work
Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and equipment operation
Ability to work independently and manage tasks on active job sites
Reliable transportation and willingness to work across Metro Detroit
Preferred
Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred; apprentices also encouraged
