Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide specialized hand therapy interventions in inpatient and outpatient settings
Deliver age-appropriate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and program development
Comply with infection control standards, safety policies, and equipment training
Demonstrate effective resource utilization to support operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Florida Occupational Therapy License
1–2 years of Hand Therapy experience required
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
