Responsibilities

This position is responsible for evaluating maintenance data as it pertains to all levels of maintenance (depot, full intermediate, intermediate, and organizational) requirements and all types of maintenance (clean, inspect, repair, disassemble, assemble, test, transfer, etc.)
Develop maintenance data procedures based on various forms of engineering source data
The reviews will require hardware and process knowledge, familiarization with blueprints, and other engineering data
Provide ongoing status to technical lead on data development timelines and schedule
Support maintenance data publishing process with involvement in data integrity check reviews and data error corrections, as well as quality review of publication modules
Define and implement authoring requirements as they pertain to the development of maintenance procedures
Experience with Engineering Changes and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), XML/SGML markup languages and light programming
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering/Technical discipline, Business Management, Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Preferred

Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
Certification FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic a plus
Ability to support operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and results based production environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Team Center, DOC ACCESS, PW specifications, technical authoring systems Arbortext, Corena, Vista, and S1000D specification
Process certification or other statistical background is desirable
