Responsibilities

Collaborate with Scrum teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot radar software solutions
Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools
Contribute to the development of new work products or enhance existing applications and systems
Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in C++ and Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
Participate in technical reviews of software components and systems
Follow established Agile/Scrum development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
Support radar site operations through travel opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Familiarity with object-oriented programming in C++
Experience or coursework in software development
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Preferred

Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycle practices
Experience or coursework in Unix/Linux operating systems
Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git or similar tools)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies through coursework or internships
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation
Desire to learn new technologies, tools, and processes
Strong interest in problem solving and software troubleshooting
