Clinical Psychologist - Remote Casual

The role involves supporting a workers compensation program by providing diagnostic assessments for psychological injuries in the workplace.

Responsibilities
Provide DSM-V diagnostic assessments that include assessing the clients' function and ability to work
Cultivating a “work is healthy” approach
Communicate with the referring agent and members of the care team as required through email, teams, or case conferences
Complete high-quality reports that meet the needs of the referring agent within the stated timeline
Supports the development of evidence-based curriculum and the expansion of programs and services as requested
Maintain registration in multiple provinces to support virtual care. (EHN will cover costs)

Qualification
Required
Registered Psychologist
PhD/PsyD
Experience working with clients on disability, workers compensation, etc
Experience in supporting return to work
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
Role models excellence in patient care and serves as a mentor for the team
Demonstrated excellent communication, facilitation and decision-making skills
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated commitment to best practice and quality improvement
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Preferred
Bilingual – an asset
