Engine is a rapidly growing company transforming business travel through technology. They are seeking a Director of Technical Recruiting to lead their recruiting function for Engineering, Product, Design, and Data, focusing on building hiring strategies and optimizing the candidate experience.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for Engineering, Product, Design, and Data
Provide data driven insights and reporting that inspire decision making and behavior change to improve hiring outcomes
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, role prioritization, and hiring roadmaps aligned with business goals
Advise executives and hiring managers on market trends, competitive compensation, candidate expectations, and recruiting practices and processes
Own and evolve full cycle recruiting processes from sourcing through onboarding, with an emphasis on speed, quality, and candidate experience
Define, track, and report hiring metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, and diversity goals to senior leadership
Continuously refine recruiting workflows, tools, and systems to support scale and growth
Build, lead, and mentor a high performing team of technical recruiters across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data
Provide coaching, training, and development to improve recruiting effectiveness and candidate engagement
Partner with cross functional leaders in People, Finance, and Operations to drive consistency, collaboration, and scalable talent practices
Elevate Engine’s employer brand across engineering and technical communities
Ensure a world class candidate experience through clear communication, structured feedback, and efficient hiring processes
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and talent focused initiatives
Lead the thoughtful integration of AI and automation into daily recruiting workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and hiring quality
Evaluate and implement AI powered tools across sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate engagement while maintaining a human centered hiring experience
Train and enable recruiting teams to effectively adopt AI tools, using data and experimentation to continuously improve outcomes
Measure the impact of AI driven solutions on time to fill, quality of hire, candidate experience, and recruiter productivity
Successful execution of strategic hiring plans that meet or exceed talent goals
A predictable, scalable recruiting model supported by strong data and insights
Trusted partnerships with cross functional leaders and a highly engaged recruiting team
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in talent acquisition with progressive leadership responsibility, technical hiring experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of hiring for Engineering, Product, Design, and Data disciplines
Proven track record of building and scaling recruiting teams in high growth, high speed environments
Strong data driven mindset with experience using recruiting metrics and analytics to inform decisions
Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with modern ATS and recruiting technologies such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Metaview, Brighthire, Covey, and Gem
