Responsibilities

Uphold the mission of the YMCA and demonstrate behaviors that reflect a determined, nurturing, genuine, hopeful, and welcoming nature
Serves as a role model and advocate of the YMCA Mission, Promise, Values and Voice
Spearheads and manages efforts around space/event rental and facilitating such occurrences
Coordinate the development, management, and promotion of programs to meet the needs of community and achieve branch/association operating objectives
Supervision of Kid’s Club, Youth Development, Community Engagement and Summer Day Camp. Lead efforts to recruit, employ, train, schedule, evaluate, and retain program staff within the operational needs and budget, providing an environment for the development of highly competent and motivated program teams
Willingness to step into open shifts to maximize coverage as needed
Meets or exceeds program goals in regards to enrollment, budget, measured impact, and addressing of the expressed needs of the community
Carry out the branch vision of an extraordinary commitment to customer service and participant driven customer friendly practices and procedures
Demonstrates a commitment to the charitable work of the YMCA and accepts a leadership role in the activities and events of the YMCA Annual Campaign
Ensure all required certifications and YMCA of the USA training guidelines of self and staff are maintained

Required

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in education, human services, social services, business, or equivalent
Previous budget experience of at least 150k
3 years of supervisory experience
3 years of experience working with youth
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technologically proficient, with the ability to use technology to advance the mission
Knowledge and understanding of childcare licensing
