Responsibilities
Assess and incorporate the organization's goals and needs
Consider key audiences in the design process
Assess technical capabilities of the organization
Create a draft of architecture and design concepts for the website
Conduct interviews to gather information about desired features and web capabilities
Synthesize information into a requirements briefing
Engage in various check-ins to provide feedback on the design
Audit the current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes and site structure
Qualification
Required
Experience designing social networking portal
Ability to create structure and design options for a nonprofit website
Ability to assess and incorporate organizational goals and needs
Consideration of key audiences in design
Assessment of technical capabilities
Ability to synthesize information into a requirements briefing
Ability to audit current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements
Commitment to a minimum of 4+ hours per week
Availability for a weekly 30-minute meeting on Mondays to Wednesdays between 12 PM and 4:30 PM Eastern Time
