Cardiac Device Specialist - MH Cardiology

Qualification
Required
Education: Associate of Science degree or certificate in an Allied Health related program or equivalent work experience required
License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
Experience: See 'Education.' Prior electrophysiology experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Cardiac Device Specialist I role
Preferred
Experience working with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs) and familiarity with device interrogation and programming is strongly preferred
Priorexposure to cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology procedures, or device clinic operations will enhance success in this role as well as demonstrated knowledge in patient education, device troubleshooting, and documentation
Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures
Knowledge of crash cart emergency procedures and contents and proper response to emergency situations
