Responsibilities

Oversee daily claim assignments and ensure timely first contact with all relevant parties
Monitor investigations, coverage analyses, and liability decisions for accuracy and completeness
Review claim documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Coach and develop team members to strengthen investigation quality, communication, and negotiation skills
Maintain oversight of reserves throughout the life of the claim; ensure appropriate adjustments are made
Ensure timely escalation of potential fraud, severity concerns, recovery opportunities, or complex issues
Collaborate with material damage units, injury adjusters, and internal partners to support smooth claim handling
Track and report team performance metrics, including timeliness, cycle time, reserve adequacy, quality results, and customer satisfaction
Support escalated customer or stakeholder concerns, providing clear explanations of decisions
Promote a positive, high-performing team culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement

Required

3–5 years of experience in personal auto claims, including Bodily Injury (BI), liability, and physical damage
Must have Florida adjusters license prior to start date
Strong understanding of claim investigations, coverage evaluation, liability assessment, and resolution tactics
Ability to make sound decisions and guide team members through complex or sensitive claims
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Detail oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance

Preferred

Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
Bachelors degree or above preferred
