Helpdesk Engineer

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support tickets, providing assistance to employees in both the office and on the manufacturing floor
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows-based desktops and laptops
Provide support for mobile devices, including Apple iPhones/iPads and Android phones/tablets
Deploy and configure new hardware, including workstations, laptops, and mobile devices, across all areas of the facility
Troubleshoot and provide support for large-scale printers and thermal transfer printers used in production
Perform hands-on component replacement and upgrades
Utilize basic network skills to troubleshoot connectivity issues (wired and wireless)
Assist with the deployment and configuration of network devices as needed
Document all support tickets and resolutions in the help desk system
Create and update knowledge base articles for common issues
Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proven experience in a hands-on technical support capacity
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and basic knowledge of Active Directory
Experience supporting and troubleshooting both iOS and Android mobile devices
Familiarity with production-specific hardware, especially industrial printers
Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Help desk support, Support, Windows 10, Office 365, Customer service, Help desk, Desktop
