The Senior Procurement Specialist will be crucial in equipping new hospitals with essential supplies and managing vendor relationships to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Maintain and curate VEG's master procurement list for New Hospitals (updating price, manufacturer information as needed)
Monitor site-specific procurement lists, adding any tracking information or ETAs as soon as possible
Serve as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, building and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships
Coordinate with key stakeholders to establish par levels, and min/max levels
Utilize our procurement system, Coupa, regularly to automate spending across the organization
Order and manage equipment bundles for the construction of new hospitals
Stock and manage items with our 3PL partner
Create vendor accounts for new hospitals (Janitorial, IDEXX, Cubex, Garda, etc)
Manage vendor Monday dashboard
Schedule and coordinate vendor appointments during site setup week
Lead routine check-in with vendors to provide feedback from new hospitals, keep timeline on track, provide updates on date changes, etc
Lead vendor introduction call with Hospital Leadership team
Create strong partnerships with our Launch team and cross functional partners. Communicate dates, status, and any updates to P&I, NHO, and Regulatory teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
Knowledge of VetMed inventory required
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional curiosity
2+ years Supply Chain, or Inventory Management experience
Computer proficiency – G Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc
Preferred
Coupa experience preferred
Familiarity with Monday.com preferred
