Constructions Management Intern (STRIVE Program)

Environmental Services
Responsibilities
Shadow Project Managers (PMs), Construction Managers (CMs), and HSE/QC professionals
Support construction site activities and assist in field reporting
Contribute ideas for implementing new technologies, software, or methods
Attend and support meetings, audits, and field inspections
Assist in reviewing construction documents, control plans, and specifications
Perform estimating, procurement tracking, and basic schedule updates
Help streamline reporting processes through digital tools and automation
Develop scopes of work for subcontractors
Assist with subcontractor coordination and change order development
Review and understand equipment maintenance and repair logs
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an accredited program with the following programs: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration (project coordination, logistics, or operations focus), Forestry (construction interest or transition focus), Project Management
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must be local to the worksite or willing to relocate (no relocation support)
Be able to work in an outdoor environment
Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
Willingness to work in an active construction site environment
Preferred
Familiarity with platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit/BIM 360
Field data collection tools (e.g., PlanGrid, Raken, ArcGIS)
Safety management apps or mobile inspection software
Interest in sustainability, automation, or digital transformation in construction
Basic knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926
