Responsibilities
Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with rules and regulations
Maintain a working knowledge of accounting principles and the workflow of invoices through the system to render payment most efficiently
Review vendors and grantee invoices to ensure each expenditure transaction is processed in accordance with the legal and administrative requirements
Determine if an invoice should be posted for payment based on a detailed checklist of required data elements
Route the invoice via workflow for research and resolution if it does not contain the required information
Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to resolve payment issues
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
You must possess at least one year of SAP experience
You must possess at least one year of accounts payable experience
You must be able to perform essential job functions
