Responsibilities
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ages 5-22 years old
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Complete all required documentation and reports
Provide compensatory services if working full-time
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
active SLP license
1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Illinois SLP License
Possession of an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
Successful completion of fingerprinting prior to start
Preferred
Experience working with school-aged populations
Ability to serve students district-wide and support a caseload-based model
Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and documentation
Ability to work independently at a single school site (non-itinerant)
Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
