The Mold Mechanic Intern will assist in mold preparation, maintenance, and repair, while also ensuring safety and cleanliness in the toolroom department.

Responsibilities
Disassembly of injection molds, cleaning, changeover of components, and reassembly of the mold
Electrical checks of mold heaters and thermocouples
Complete mold and equipment work orders using the computerized mold repair database
Assess critical spare part inventory and updates as needed
Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of the toolroom department as instructed by management
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and safety equipment
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Technical School or College
With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
You must have transportation
The position is required to work on-site daily
Preferred
Possibility of housing provided by the local university
Strong communication and documentation skills
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Basic MS Office skills
