Business Development Manager – Micro-E & Data Center Markets
FLW Southeast is focused on expanding market presence within the Micro-Electronics and Data Center sectors. The Business Development Manager will drive growth by developing strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to support long-term revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic business plan to grow Micro-E and Data Center market share across the assigned territory
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within semiconductor fabs, data centers, and supporting infrastructure projects
Drive recovery and expansion of annual sales volume while building a sustainable long-term pipeline
Build and maintain strong relationships with key end users, EPC firms, engineering partners, and system integrators
Establish credibility as a trusted advisor by understanding customer processes, priorities, and project timelines
Expand presence within targeted accounts through consistent engagement and strategic planning
Promote analytical and process instrumentation solutions aligned to Micro-E and Data Center applications
Collaborate with internal technical specialists and manufacturer partners to develop optimized customer solutions
Support project specifications, technical evaluations, and application discussions throughout the sales cycle
Partner with regional sales teams, inside sales, and technical resources to support opportunity development
Coordinate with manufacturer business development and marketing resources to strengthen market awareness
Share market intelligence and customer feedback to inform strategy and product positioning
Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
Provide regular reporting on account activity, project development, and revenue projections
Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks
Travel throughout the assigned territory (approximately 50%) to support customer meetings, job site visits, and project reviews
Represent the organization at customer events, industry meetings, and relevant market activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or engineered solutions environments
Proven experience calling on end users and EPC firms
Working knowledge of process instrumentation, analytical measurement, or related technologies
Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and drive revenue growth
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Experience within Micro-Electronics, Semiconductor, or Data Center markets
Existing relationships within Micro-E accounts, engineering firms, or EPC organizations
Experience working with manufacturer partners or representative sales models
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a consultative sales approach
