Responsibilities

Supports the administration of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
Manages financial aid applications from file creation and verification through awarding and notification
Counsels prospective and current students on aid options and procedures
Assists with federal and private loan origination and certification
Administers Federal Work Study and scholarship awards
Monitors Perkins loan records and supports reporting and audit activities
Handles daily operational responsibilities, including responding to in-person, phone, mail, and email inquiries
Maintains financial aid files and provides coverage in the Director’s absence
Participates in orientations and open house events
Handles SEVIS processing for international students
Serves as Tuition Exchange Administrator
Coordinates the bi-annual Drug Free Workplace/Drug Prevention Program review
Issues exit interview instructions to withdrawn students
Provides broad administrative and business office support such as greeting visitors, issuing IDs and keys, processing work orders and room reservations, assisting with tuition payments and student account inquiries, and supporting campus services

Required

Bachelor's degree required
