New Grad, Entry LevelCity of Alliance is seeking a Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Worker to help maintain Skyview Golf Course. The role involves hands-on work caring for the golf course and its surrounding grounds, ensuring a safe and visually appealing environment for golfers and visitors.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Mowing greens, tees, and fairways
Trimming and edging
Raking bunkers
Repairing turf
Setting up course features
Maintaining irrigation components
Performing general grounds and facility upkeep
Working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance team to ensure the course is safe, clean, and visually appealing each day
Performing physical labor such as lifting, digging, shoveling, raking, mowing, and standing or walking for extended periods
Communicating effectively and working positively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public
Qualification
Required
Be 18 years of age or older to operate required equipment
Be comfortable working early morning hours and flexible schedules
Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Be able to perform physical labor such as lifting, digging, shoveling, raking, mowing, and standing or walking for extended periods
Be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to follow established routines and regulations
Be able to read, understand, and follow instructions involving multiple tasks
Communicate effectively and work positively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public
Valid state driver's license required
Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles
Preferred
Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping, or turf care
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Awareness of first aid practices and workplace safety precautions
Willingness to assume responsibility and work independently when assigned
