Responsibilities
Hazardous waste generator inspections at large quantity and small quantity generators
Draft detailed inspection reports and enforcement actions that are technically sound and legally enforceable
Perform compliance assistance to help regulated entities come back into compliance
Independent and team coordination
Versatile interpersonal skills, capable of adapting communication style to connect effectively with diverse individuals and settings
Qualification
Required
Experience performing regulatory compliance evaluations for large quantity and small quantity hazardous waste generators
Ability to draft detailed, technically and legally sound inspection reports and enforcement actions within required timeframes
Capability for both independent initiative and effective team coordination
Versatile interpersonal skills, being able to adapt communication styles to effectively engage with diverse personnel with varied professional and educational backgrounds
Ability to perform hazardous waste generator inspections at large quantity and small quantity generators
Ability to perform compliance assistance to help regulated entities come back into compliance
Ability to work in conditions that require special safety precautions and/or equipment
Ability to perform physical exertion, including standing, walking over rough surfaces, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time
Preferred
B.S. degree or higher in science related fields
