Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
As an Accounting Manager, you'll manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
The Accounting Manager will drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in collaboration with leadership
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Partner with other departments to support operational and strategic initiatives
The Accounting Manager will also lead special projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting best practices
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
The ideal Accounting Manager will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at building cross-functional relationships

Preferred

CPA strongly preferred
ERP system experience preferred
