The intern will work on producing plastic components for car batteries and will be responsible for various tasks including repairing tools and assisting with engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Repair tools, molds, fixtures, gauges, and other equipment
Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools
Ensure work is performed neatly and professionally
Work on special projects as assigned
Assist with Root Cause Analysis and repetitive failures
Assist with engineering projects/ modification work
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and safety equipment

Qualification

Communication skillsDetail-orientedOrganizational skillsBasic MS Office skills

Required

Enrolled in a Technical School or College
With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
You must have transportation
The position is required to work on-site daily
Possibility of housing provided by the local university
Strong communication and documentation skills
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Basic MS Office skills
Standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching
Required to lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs
