Responsibilities
Experience with:
Inspection services (roadway, bridge) and/or Roadway Monitoring
Transportation maintenance projects
Knowledge of work zone safety, erosion, sediment control
Experience ensuring compliance of contract standards and specifications
Knowledge of VDOT policies as they relate to quality workmanship and materials in transportation maintenance projects
Inspect for compliance with state specifications, plans and/or proposals on roadway and bridge projects
Prepare and maintain project records and reports in a timely manner
Notify the Contractor or the Project Engineer about non-conforming work
Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager
Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
Qualification
Required
Experience with: Inspection services (roadway, bridge) and/or Roadway Monitoring
Transportation maintenance projects - Related fields
Knowledge of work zone safety, erosion, sediment control
Experience ensuring compliance of contract standards and specifications
Knowledge of VDOT policies as they relate to quality workmanship and materials in transportation maintenance projects
Inspect for compliance with state specifications, plans and/or proposals on roadway and bridge projects
