Senior Test Engineer

The Senior Test Engineer will work closely with R&D development teams to provide testing and verification of electrical distribution equipment, leading complex testing projects and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities
Support R&D teams to develop type test strategies and detail test plans for new products
Lead and manages complex testing projects to validate new designs and modifications in a collaborative team environment
Motivate and coordinate internal and/or external resources to accomplish tasks and milestones required to complete testing projects
Ensure retention of ISO 17025 and UL CTDP accreditations and grow the scope of accreditation to support client demand
Build, develop, and maintain trust-based relationships with internal (other R&D units, product management, operations, business management) and external (customers, standardization bodies, universities, etc.) contacts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; electrical/mechanical engineering preferred
5+ years electrical engineering experience
Working knowledge of IEEE standards, UL standards and ISO 17025 standard
Experienced in planning, leading and executing technical projects
Demonstrated presentation/influence skills
Strong interpersonal skills required to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with internal and external customers and suppliers
