Responsibilities
Network Security Operations is responsible for maintaining the network security environment
The Network Security Operations Engineer will be timely in evaluating and attempting to resolve technical issues that arise on the network and escalate when appropriate
Monitor network health, responding appropriately to network alerts and events to diagnose and resolve network issues
Troubleshoot, Escalate, and communicate issues surrounding Wired, Wireless, and Private 5G infrastructure
Review configurations and network tools to continually improve network performance and reliability
Configure and maintain SASE tools, following best practice with Zero Trust principles
Configure and maintain firewalls: security policies, VPN, IPSec tunnels etc
Qualification
Required
2-5 years professional experience in: IP Networking (L3, L2)
Network automation/Scripting (Python, Bash, Go or other scripting language)
Protocols such as BGP, Spanning Tree, WiFi, PIM, IGMP, MLAG, IPSec, Multicast
Public cloud networking, specifically GCP and OCI
Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desire to be challenged, learn, and continually improve
1 to 3 years of experience in professional networking and networking security
Preferred
Experience with Private Cellular Networks preferred
CCNA or CCNP certification a plus
