Responsibilities
This assignment provides a diverse experience in the functions and needs of a rubber manufacturing group. The selected individual will be involved in the support of the Lincoln Manufacturing Facility
The student can expect to be exposed to the following
Large Facility Electrical Infrastructure
Rockwell and Kepware programming
Electrical and Facility Schematics (AutoCad)
Manufacturing processes (Rubber Mixing, Prep, and Industrial Belt Production)
Quality Systems (ISO9000)
Lean Manufacturing Principles
Systematic Problem-solving tools
Selecting and ordering of production support supplies
Qualification
Required
Minimum GPA 3.0; 15 credit hours completed
Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies
Preferred
2+ years remaining till completion of a Bachelor's degree
Electrical Engineering major is preferred
