Administrative Assistant
Galen College of Nursing is a leading institution dedicated to nursing education, aiming to empower future nurses. The Administrative Assistant will support daily campus operations, assist potential students, and help organize campus events.
Responsibilities
Greet potential students and answer questions when acting in student facing support role
Contact potential students about upcoming appointments or needed documents
Review documents for accuracy and upload completed documents into Recruit and Ellucian Colleague
Assist potential students with completion of forms as needed
Provide detailed documentation of student contacts in Recruit and Ellucian Colleague
Proctor preadmission testing as assigned
Assist in drafting correspondence and meeting agendas and managing calendars
Assist in quarterly campus orientation, graduation, and other campus events
Attend campus trainings and workshops as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Experience in Microsoft systems such as Word, Excel, and internet browsers
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people
Great attention to detail
Time management skills
Willingness to be a team player
Must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours at a time
Preferred
Some college helpful but not required
