Responsibilities
Design and develop secure, scalable mobile-first APIs using REST/JSON or GraphQL, including authentication, authorization, and versioning
Build and operate cloud-native backend services (e.g., AWS), integrating databases, third-party services, and monitoring/logging solutions
Ensure high performance, low latency, data security, encryption, and scalability to support growing mobile usage and feature expansion
Qualification
Required
Expertise in designing APIs optimized for mobile consumption
Strong experience developing and operating services in cloud environments
Proven ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems
Preferred
Ability to work onsite in Chicago or Houston 1–2 days per week
