Business Development Officer

OE Federal Credit Union is a community-focused financial institution that has been serving union members since 1964. The Business Development Officer will assist in maintaining and growing relationships with labor unions and promote the credit union's products and services to its members.

Responsibilities

Develop, promote and maintain good working relationships with affiliated union groups, union representatives and members
Responsible for the facilitation of classes (money management, products and services education, etc.) in coordination with apprenticeship programs
Travel to and attend in-person functions, such as meetings, picnics and sport tournaments to promote the credit union and support the interests of our membership
Assist in monitoring and tracking projects, activities, events and strategies to achieve goals and objectives
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions
Keep current with the union construction trade industry and potential credit union field of membership growth opportunities
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Associates degree in an applicable field and minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar role or High School Diploma/GED and minimum 6 years of work experience in a Lead-level role
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills required
Excellent presentation, public speaking and networking skills required
Proficiency with PC, Microsoft windows software, Excel, Power Point, Word required
Valid state issued driver's license required
Proficiency with JHA Symitar required

Preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
