Responsibilities

Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for enterprise-wide vendor management programs across the Residential business
Manage strategic and high-impact vendor relationships; serve as an executive escalation point to resolve complex issues with urgency and clarity
Partner with Product, Finance, and Operations leadership to continuously improve vendor tools, data pipelines, dashboards, and performance metrics
Develop long-term sourcing, pricing, negotiation, and service delivery strategies aligned with business goals and customer expectations
Build and implement an enterprise vendor scorecard and measurement framework to drive operational efficiency and performance consistency across business lines
Work closely with operational leaders across multiple business lines to ensure vendor performance is aligned with KPIs, SLAs, cost targets, and operational efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and cost-savings strategies tied to vendor spend and performance
Partner with Product and Technology teams to improve vendor-facing tools, workflow automation, and onboarding platforms
Represent Vendor Management in executive forums, cross-functional planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews
Lead and grow a high-performing vendor operations organization, including directors and specialists across multiple teams
Define organizational structure, talent needs, and workforce planning to support growth, scale, and evolving business needs
Develop performance expectations, coaching strategies, and career paths to cultivate team capability and succession
Foster a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement
Collaborate to ensure a strong sourcing pipeline, including data insights, market analysis, capacity planning, and vendor selection strategies
Develop and execute targeted RFQ/RFP processes to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance quality
Ensure vendor onboarding, compliance, and performance processes are efficient, standardized, and continuously improved
Identify risk, analyze opportunities, and deliver proactive recommendations to executive leadership
Ensure confidentiality, security, and accuracy of all internal and external vendor-related data
Provide executive-level reporting on vendor performance, risk, cost, and strategic progress
Establish and manage budgets, strategic plans, and annual operating goals for the Vendor Management team
Ensure alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
Perform executive-level special projects as assigned
Available to adjust work schedule during peak periods and travel up to 15% for vendor site visits, assessments, and relationship management

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of progressive business experience, including significant leadership responsibility
Experience leading vendor management, sourcing, procurement, or related operational functions

Preferred

7+ years of experience in facilities, supply chain, vendor management, or procurement
7+ years of people leadership, including managing managers and building multi-team functions
Experience working in a high-volume, multi-business-line environment
