Responsibilities
Revamp our current Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge to reduce the required development work to integrate Forter and significantly improve our merchant experience
Lead initiatives to integrate Forter into Salesforce’s core, including Service Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Order Management and more
Collaborate with Product, Go-To-Market, and other engineering teams to understand merchant needs and translate them into technical solutions
Lead building seamless extensions for the eCommerce platform Salesforce Commerce Cloud by enabling "one-click" onboarding experiences, guiding developers through required API calls, enabling data mapping from payment vendors like Stripe and Adyen, ingesting historical data in various formats, and validating integrations through Forter's Integration Center UI, SDKs, and automation that make integration intuitive and efficient
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, designing and building production systems at scale
Hands-on experience developing for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) is essential. Experience with Salesforce Core (Service Cloud, OMS) is a strong plus
Deep expertise in JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web standards
Experience with (or a strong desire to master) modern backend technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL
Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable working across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with a passion for developer experience and technical excellence
Preferred
Experience building SDKs or integration frameworks
Deep understanding of additional eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Commercetools)
Experience with payments infrastructure, especially providers like Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or Worldpay
A track record of reducing complexity through automation and tooling
Experience improving developer experience through documentation, sandbox environments, or test harnesses
