They are seeking a Master's Level Grants Intern to assist in grant writing and management, providing an opportunity to learn about funding opportunities and develop grant proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

Learn about how to search for funding opportunities to meet agency and program needs
Review and summarize funding opportunities (request for proposals (RFPs), notice of funding opportunities (NOFOs), etc.)
Develop grant reports
Gather required attachments for grant proposals and reports
Lay out narrative drafts for new funding opportunities
Request and analyze program data for use in proposals and grant reports
Create data charts, figures, and graphs in Excel for use in proposals and reports
Write smaller community, private, or corporate grant proposals
Collaborate with program leaders across the agency and the senior leadership team during the full grant cycle
Receive practical hands-on training to learn how to search for funding opportunities, interpret funding notices, and develop compelling grant proposals and reports

Required

Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university master's program for social work, public health, public administration, or other relevant programs
The position requires strong writing and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of data analysis
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Knowledge of Microsoft Planner
