The role involves leading day-to-day accounting operations, supporting the accounting team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting during a transitional period.

Responsibilities
Lead and support the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Provide oversight and hands-on support across core accounting areas, including revenue, cost of sales, inventory, AR, reserves, and affiliate accounting
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and properly documented
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, and other teams on financial reporting needs
Assist with external audit activities and serve as a key accounting point of contact during the audit period
Mentor and support accounting managers and staff as needed during the interim period
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory exposure
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
Proven experience managing or supporting close cycles in a complex environment
Experience with large ERP systems; Oracle preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to be both strategic and hands-on in a fast-moving setting
Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
