Responsibilities
Manage material procurement from award through closeout, including buyout, submittals, samples, and material selections
Issue, revise, and track purchase orders, budgets, and cost changes
Review schedules of values and support project budget imports
Track change orders, repair change orders, and material-related revisions
Review shop drawings and coordinate takeoff or scope changes with estimating
Set up new vendors and negotiate pricing, freight, and payment terms
Request, compare, and evaluate material and freight quotes
Communicate lead times, pricing changes, shortages, or discontinued materials to project stakeholders
Support accounting with invoice reviews, disputes, credits, and discounts
Coordinate material releases and jobsite deliveries
Manage material returns, claims, and replacements
Support clubhouse walks and ensure materials are ready per schedule
Attend weekly project coordination meetings with field leadership
Prepare and submit closeout documentation
Maintain accurate procurement logs and project records
Support project handoff and final material reconciliation
Qualification
Required
2 to 5 years of experience in construction project coordination, assistant project management, or procurement
Background working with a commercial or multifamily general contractor or subcontractor
Strong understanding of construction drawings, buyout, and material workflows
Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously
Comfortable making decisions that impact budget, schedule, and cost
Proficient in Excel and construction project documentation
Self-starter who can work independently and proactively
