Associate Attorney- Real Estate
Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser, P.C. is seeking an associate attorney for its Real Estate Practice Group. The role involves drafting and negotiating various real estate documents and conducting due diligence for real estate finance and development transactions.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate loan documents
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
Draft and negotiate leases
Draft and negotiate construction contracts
Draft and negotiate JV agreements and other entity formation documents
Conduct due diligence for real estate finance and real estate development transactions
Qualification
Required
Good academic credentials and strong references are required
1 to 5 years of experience practicing real estate law
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of Texas
Experience analyzing, reviewing, editing, and drafting documents, as well as superior analytical skills
Must have demonstrated the ability to work with clients who demand excellence and be able to meet their expectations
A commitment to working ethically and always in the best interest of the client
Excellent work ethic, articulate, and efficient
Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent spoken and written communication
Preferred
Prior (non-lawyer) experience in real estate, banking or finance is a plus
