Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server and Azure SQL databases to support operational and analytical workloads
Build and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory to integrate data from diverse sources
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and scalability
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and external standards
Support data governance initiatives and contribute to metadata management
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring reliability and accuracy
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and analysts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of experience in SQL Server development and database design
3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory
Strong proficiency in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning
Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
Familiarity with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and operational reporting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Key Vault
Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure
Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
