Responsibilities
Prepare and post month-end close journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and support internal and external financial statement audits
Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts by identifying, researching, and clearly explaining variances in a timely and accurate manner
Produce, analyze, and interpret weekly and monthly internal financial reports to support operational and financial decision-making
Maintain accounting records, reports, and supporting documentation in an organized, accurate, and audit-ready format
Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure operational effectiveness, financial compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives
Provide oversight and direct supervision of a property-based accounting clerk responsible for Accounts Receivable and BirchStreet system administration
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of accounting‑related experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for financial reporting, analysis, and record‑keeping
Preferred
Hospitality experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Opera or property management software experience preferred
