Utility Crew Pipe Mainline Operator
Knife River Corporation is seeking a Utility Crew Pipe Mainline Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and perform various tasks related to trenching and utility work. The role involves physical activity and requires adherence to safety standards while working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities
Operate all heavy equipment safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
Perform daily equipment inspections
Excavate mainline trenches in and around utilities
Trench and set mainline trench boxes in accordance to OSHA standards
Understand and implement the proper rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking
Some physical labor is required
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Must be willing to work flexible shifts
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred
Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background
Ability to communicate and work with others in a high stress environment
Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, and the public
