Environmental Policy & Planning Intern
The State of Iowa - Executive Branch is responsible for balancing transportation project delivery, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. This position will assist the NEPA Team in meeting federal environmental regulations through various planning and policy-related activities.

Responsibilities
Assist LEB staff with day-to-day functions including but not limited to environmental policy, planning and transportation related activities such as basic report preparation, process documentation, project data entry, database management, and related organizational work
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate students in an environmental, planning or transportation academic program or with an interest in environmental process and policy
Preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and data management systems
Prefer a student who can start this fall and work part time through the semester
Prefer student who is at least a sophomore
