Responsibilities
Advise on structuring tax-advantaged deals
Formation / operation / restructuring of entities like partnerships, S corps, and REITs
Tax credit opportunities in a variety of sectors
Buy-side and sell-side corporate, LLC and partnership acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and restructurings
Participate in corporate matters from beginning to end
Counsel both foreign and domestic companies on a range of corporate tax matters
Periodically provide general corporate counseling
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Corporate Tax law
Excellent academic credentials
Written and verbal communication skills
Experience performing corporate tax work in a law firm or boutique tax firm setting
Counseling both foreign and domestic companies on a range of corporate tax matters
Admission to the Florida Bar with a reasonable period of employment
Preferred
An LLM in taxation
