Civil/Family Post Trial Clerk
Harris County is seeking a Civil/Family Post Trial Clerk to participate in daily transactions related to processing requests for cost statements, abstractions, and other clerical records. The role involves providing quality customer service while supporting the objectives of the District Clerk’s office.

Responsibilities
To carry out the objectives of the section by participating in the daily transactions of processing requests for cost statements, abstractions and executions, notice of appeals, original and supplemental clerk’s records, expunctions and correspondence
To provide quality customer service while carrying out the objectives of the District Clerk’s office
Qualification
Required
All applicants must register and take the HRRM Clerical Skills Test and score a minimum of 80% with a typing speed of 35 W.P.M. and 80% accuracy
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution
Must be able to work under strict time constraints
Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work
Must possess quality customer service skills
Must be able to work overtime upon request
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to maneuver, including lifting and moving a minimum of thirty (30) pounds
Testing will be required. (Grammar 80%, Typing 35 wpm) at 80% accuracy
Must be eligible for employment in the United States
