Sales Manager, Production Software

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for their Production Software portfolio. This role involves driving new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts within a designated region, focusing on delivering Hexagon’s Production Software solutions to innovative manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close within the assigned region
Identify customer pain points and map them to Hexagon’s production software solutions
Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic outreach and territory planning
Deliver product demonstrations with support from technical engineers
Develop proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals that meet or exceed quarterly targets
Collaborate with customer success and application engineering teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Represent Hexagon at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Provide voice-of-customer feedback to product and marketing teams to support continuous improvement

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in B2B software or capital equipment sales, preferably in the manufacturing sector
Deep understanding of machining, CAM software, CNC workflows, or digital production systems
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a regional role
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Must reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia or Kentucky and be willing to travel regionally up to 40%
