Handling appeals and petitions for extraordinary relief
Partnering with trial counsel to build winning legal arguments in the trial court
Creating and preserving a record that will ensure success on appeal
Drafting complex law and motion matters, including demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, anti-SLAPP motions, and summary judgment motions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience handling a practice that includes at least 50 percent appellate work
Active member of the State Bar of California
Strong academic credentials
Passion for advocacy
Experience handling appeals and petitions for extraordinary relief
Experience partnering with trial counsel to build winning legal arguments in the trial court
Experience creating and preserving a record that will ensure success on appeal
Experience drafting complex law and motion matters, including demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, anti-SLAPP motions, and summary judgment motions
