Responsibilities
Ensure compliance to product through Out of Box Audits
Conduct failure analysis of product returns and line rejects
Initiate and close Product Non-conformance Reports (PNRs), including management of non-conforming product inventory
Create and modify Critical to Quality (CTQ) documents
Update and post First Pass Yield (FPY) spreadsheets and Pareto charts, including submission of monthly reports
Understand and apply basic metrology techniques using hand tools, gages and fixtures
Perform inspection activities on parts/components manufactured by internal and/or external suppliers
Update Cell Countermeasure boards for quality-related items
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual in English/Spanish
Three years related manufacturing experience
Two years as a Quality Technician or equivalent is a plus
Able to apply basic metrology methodologies, including the use of hand tools, gages and fixtures
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, a plus
Familiar with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T), a plus
Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) a plus
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift
Steel-toed footwear is required
