Responsibilities
Review, draft, and redline: Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Client contracts, Vendor and subcontractor agreements, NDAs and confidentiality agreements
Identify contractual risks and ensure alignment with company standards and risk tolerance
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals, amendments, and recordkeeping
Maintain standardized contract templates and clause libraries
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for contract-related inquiries
Communicate with clients and vendors regarding contract terms and revisions
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and HR to support contract needs
Ensure contractual obligations are clearly communicated internally
Coordinate with outside legal counsel on escalated or high-risk legal matters
Support regulatory and licensing documentation as needed (engineering, utilities, and related filings)
Assist HR with policy review, employment agreements, and compliance documentation
Support internal audits and contract compliance initiatives
Develop and improve contract workflows, tracking systems, and reporting
Identify opportunities to reduce external legal spend
Participate in process documentation and SOP development
Support long-term legal and compliance strategy as the company grows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
3–6 years of experience in a paralegal, contract administration, or legal support role
Strong experience reviewing and managing contracts in a corporate environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Preferred
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training
Experience in engineering, utilities, construction, or professional services industries
Familiarity with MSAs and complex commercial contracts
Interest in long-term career growth and professional development
