Responsibilities
Conduct deep customer discovery. You don't just hear what customers say; you understand the pain behind their words
You act as a firewall against noise. You ingest vague customer problems and transcribe them into concrete solutions. You never communicate raw problems to engineering without context
You filter the noise. You are capable of saying "no" to good ideas to focus entirely on the critical ideas
You have experience setting up and utilizing product analytics tools such as Heap Analytics, Amplitude, or Datadog to instrument and analyze user behavior
You are proficient in writing SQL queries to analyze feature usage, track retention, and understand user behavior without requiring constant assistance from a data analyst
You build your own charts (using tools like Superset/Tableau/Looker or the built-in dashboards of the Product Analytics Tools) and communicate the impact of shipped features to the broader company
You are familiar with our stack. You can read a React component to understand the UI logic, and you can parse Python scripts to understand backend constraints
You are not afraid of code. You use AI-centric tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to build prototypes, fix minor bugs, or automate your own workflows
You constantly look for ways to use AI to make the product process faster—whether that's synthesizing user interview notes or generating acceptance criteria
You do not just maintain a roadmap; you drive it. You collaborate with owners of various platform components to ensure a holistic view, identifying dependencies and risks before they become blockers
You understand that an Executive needs a different view than a QA Engineer. You are an expert at toggling the fidelity of information: To Executives: High-level strategic milestones and business impact. To Business/Sales: "What" is coming, "When," and "Why" it matters to the client. To Engineering & Test: Ultra-detailed technical contexts, edge cases, and acceptance criteria
You select and use the right tools for the job. You ensure projects are tracked with rigorous detail, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks while maintaining a source of truth that is accessible to all
You are a master of backlog management. Your tickets are clear, your epics are structured, and your sprint planning is surgical
You are the primary link between Leadership, Sales, and Engineering. You ensure everyone knows what is being built and when it is shipping
You are on top of the game in communication. You ensure no stakeholder is left in the dark and questions are answered with speed and precision
Qualification
Required
Experience: 5–8 years of Product Management experience
Technical Chops: Professional SQL proficiency (Joins, Aggregations, Reporting). Familiarity with Python and React (ability to read/understand code)
AI Mindset: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (Cursor, Replit, LLMs) to accelerate product development
Tooling: Expert-level Jira administration
Preferred
Domain Familiarity: It is a strong plus if you have exposure to Lending (loan lifecycles, credit policies) OR Construction (project management, draw requests, contractors)
Fintech / Startup DNA: Previous experience working in a fast-paced Fintech environment or an early-stage startup is a huge bonus. We value people who have seen the complexity of money movement and the speed of startup execution
