Administrative Assistant

Logistics & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Receive and screen telephone calls for Department
Prepare correspondence and reports, with some direction
Research projects as assigned
Make travel arrangements
Coordinate Some Office Functions With Other Departments
Perform assistance and other projects as may be assigned
Filing, copying, faxing as necessary
Cover breaks and lunch for the receptionist as necessary
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Microsoft OfficeOffice AdministrationResourcefulnessAutonomous WorkMaritime ExperienceCollaborative Work

Required

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be resourceful
Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
Minimum of two years in an office setting
Maritime experience is a plus
The ability to operate a computer terminal
The ability to operate telephones and standard office equipment
